Nah I`m never good with titles anyway

Hey whatsup hello to whoever still passes through this page ;)

So so sorry for the long hiatus, it`s been almost a year since my last post. I promise I`m going to TRY to answer all your unanswered questions/comments right after this post!!! :) :)

I don`t think I`ll be able to post a lot of info about wherever I went to for the past few months. Although, since last year, I usually just fly to the US so I don`t really have anything new to share haha. But after my last post here, I actually did first time flights to Geneva, Frankfurt, and Madrid! And theeen, I usually just get flights to Paris and London repeatedly, and Kuala Lumpur one time in March lol. Oh and I finally got to see the Fontana de Trevi! If you`ve been following my posts, you`d know the last time I was in Rome, it was still under construction ha now it`s open again finally!

I`ll just be sharing photos here, in a very random order, so sorry. Just a quick info for the photos: you`ll find the view of Manhattan Bridge in Brooklyn, Fontana de Trevi, Pantheon from Rome, my shameless selfies at the lovelock bridge in Frankfurt, Eiffel Tower in Paris and Segovia, a view of Champs Elysees and Petit Palais in Paris, Plaza Mayor and the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid!

(Photos after the jump :D)

I`m totally updated on Instagram & Snapchat during and after every layovers though lol

Let`s Hear it For New York!

ONE HAND IN THE AIR FOR THE BIG CITY! <3
(Empire State Bldg. with the American Flag lights since it was election that day:) )

Heeey, I`m kinda excited about this post. Before visiting the city that never sleeps, London was my favorite city! And then followed by Paris! But now the list will start with, of course, NYC! ;)

Last November 3rd, I did a flight to JFK. It was 3hrs shorter than my first Washington flight, which doesn`t really make a difference, but hey, at least it`s shorter. Haha. We only stay in New York for 33hrs, which is definitely too short to visit all the spots that I have listed on my mind (Ehem, Gossip Girl spots). So we just went to see the Times Square, Empire State, Rockefeller Center, see outside the Grand Central Terminal (swear I gotta go inside next time and try The Campbell Apartment), Chrysler bldg and I had the chance to visit Brooklyn, as well.

So our hotel is actually far from Manhattan, we had to take the train to get there. Loved to experience the commute! <3

Washington, D.C.

Candid :D (Washington Monument)

Hi!!! Another post long overdue, well sort of, haha. After more than a year with the airline, I finally got to fly to U.S :) Since I`m Riyadh based, we only have Washington and New York flights out of here. Jeddah has both plus Los Angeles. I just got back from New York last night, but I gotta post this Washington flight first :)

So last month, I got a chance to operate a flight to Washington. I was supposed to fly to New York first, but since I forgot to update my visa, they removed the flight from me. But still, I`m thankful that they kept my Washington. We normally have a 53hr layover in Washington, serves just right since it is a 13-14hr flight from Riyadh :)

We arrived in Washington on a sunny afternoon, we just went to the mall to try Five Guys and watch a movie. I actually slept throughout the whole film!! Hahaha.

Paris is Always a Good Idea

I use these hashtags on instagram! ;)

Hi!!! Soooo sorry for the longest hiatus ever. I`ve been super busy these past few months I couldn`t write or read any of your comments/questions. But I tried to answer those who made inquiries through email.

Anyway, so last March I moved to our newly opened base. They`ve been having Paris flights ever since and they even have long layovers. As for myself, I don`t usually bid for Paris because I don`t bid with a flying partner, and it`ll just suck if I go to Paris with just anyone. Haha or it`s just me. But for this month of July, I was scheduled for my yearly training, and the only available lines (for my priority) with the training is Paris, 53Hrs. So when I got it, thank God I got a Filipina flying partner even by chance ;)

Milano, Italy

Hi!! Sorry for the long hiatus, been busy lately haha. Here`s my first post for the year 2015! I was in London again last December, with only a 24-hr layover, we only did some shopping for Christmas! And then Kuala last January, but it was a very short layover, I just stayed in after I got some groceries lol. Anyway, for my February roster, I got Milan and Kuala for my international flights with layover! :)

Luckily, my flying partner for the month of February is a Filipina as well, and she has relatives in Milano, which made going to tourist spots easier. Just like Rome, we use a narrow body aircraft on our flights to Milan. And we only had 54 passengers going! It was a red eye flight so everyone was sleeping ;)

The weather was so bad the day we arrived though. It was freezing cold, and snowing!!! <3 We arrived at 7 in the morning, local time, and we arrived at the hotel at around 9. If it wasn`t my first time in Milan, I wouldn`t go out. The weather just makes me want to stay in and cuddle... with the pillows and the blanket haha. We didn`t get a chance to get around that much because of the weather, so here are some photos I`d like to share <3

Kuala Lumpur

Hello! Another post that is long overdue again :D I have to post this one now since it`s almost two months overdue :)) Anyways, so last November, we had a 27hr layover in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! :) It was my first time in Malaysia so I was excited to see the city. It feels like my hometown, Manila, since the weather is alike, plus the time is the same.

We arrived in the afternoon, the hotel was far from the airport so we had time to rest at the bus before we reach the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we just changed and then went out to explore Kuala :) Here`s a peek of my hotel room, and I`ve got the view of the KL Tower outside my window ;)

We first went to see the KLCC, we took the metro, and at the KLCC station there`s a mall right outside the metro. We checked out the grocery store, since I needed something for personal use and it`s super emergency haha, then we bought Old Town Coffee packs which were on sale!! After that, we went to the food court called Taste Enclave, looking and hoping for pork (haha), then ate before we went to see the Petronas Towers outside.

When in Rome

Heeey, this post is long overdue haha. So, last October 31st, we had a 26hr layover in Rome, Italy!! I was super excited to see another Europe city and since the aircraft we use for flights to Italy is just the narrow body one, it`s a plus that we`ll only have a few passengers on board ;) And so we did, super light load on the way to Rome woohoo! This one`s my personal favorite flight so far ;)

We arrived in Rome at about 1-2 in the afternoon, it was quite a long drive to the hotel. After we arrived, we went to our rooms to change and rest for a while before we go out. Luckily, we had another Filipina with us, she`s our senior and she knows the way around. We all went to the Vatican that evening. As I mentioned in my previous post, again, I`d like to think our company is so thoughtful for letting us stay in a beautiful hotel which is just beside the metro! Talk about convenience haha.

London in October

Hey everyone! I finally got time to write about my first Europe layover :) When the October roster came out, my roommate and I were so excited that we`ll be flying partners for the whole October :) We were blessed to have two Europe flights for this month :)

Last week, I had a 29hr layover in London! I don`t know what to feel because it still feels so surreal even after I had the chance to stand almost beside the Big Ben, see the London Eye and step on the Tower Bridge hehe

Anyway, so, it was a very short layover, when we arrived at the hotel, luckily they still serve breakfast, so we had breakfast before we went to our rooms and change, rest for a bit and then went out. Lucky for me, my flying partner has been to London last month so she knows which way we`ll go.

Our company is so thoughtful that they chose a hotel just nearby the Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, and also the underground train and bus stops :) We bought this unlimited one day pass for £8.90 which you can use on either the train or bus until AM04:00. I took a photo of this bus which the final destination is Notting Hill Gate hehe, I love watching movies and Notting Hill is one of my favorite Julia Roberts film :)

Come fly with me :)

Hello!! I have been wanting to write since I got back from Manila to start training with this one big airline here in the MidEast, but since time didnt permit me to do so, here I am now, trying to summarize everything that happened since June in one boring post haha

So, after two months of initial training, I finally got my wings :) No one else to be grateful for but God and my whole support system (haha aka my family, friends and this really sweet guy :>) who stayed with me throughout my journey to fulfill my dream of becoming a flight attendant :)

Interview tips for Flight Attendant Applicants

Hello everyone! Personally, I have applied to only one airline and had undergone the final interview so I`m here to share some tips that I also got from my friends who are flying for a long time already :)

While waiting for the date of your final interview, you can spend the rest of your time preparing for it, here are some of the things you can do:

1. Do some research about the airline.
2. Read blogs/forums about FA interviews.
3. Know the exact job / work description.
4. Write down possible questions and your answers.
5. Practice with a friend, or on your own.
6. Pray, pray, pray!

If you`re a fan of movies or series, you can also watch flight attendant based films/series to get some tips. My personal and forever favorites are View From The Top and the series Pan Am. Watching these can help you get the feel of it. Also, try to practice your smile, and make up.

Like other job interviews, applicants are interviewed by a panel of 3 to 4 persons. If you`ve done thesis defense during your college years, just keep in mind that this is almost the same hehe. Interview questions are really basic, so you just have to show how interested you are, your enthusiasm, give them your best smile and be confident (but not too much that it shows), breathe and answer them with all your heart. Here are five of the most basic interview questions:
