Kuala Lumpur

Hello! Another post that is long overdue again :D I have to post this one now since it`s almost two months overdue :)) Anyways, so last November, we had a 27hr layover in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! :) It was my first time in Malaysia so I was excited to see the city. It feels like my hometown, Manila, since the weather is alike, plus the time is the same.

We arrived in the afternoon, the hotel was far from the airport so we had time to rest at the bus before we reach the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we just changed and then went out to explore Kuala :) Here`s a peek of my hotel room, and I`ve got the view of the KL Tower outside my window ;)

We first went to see the KLCC, we took the metro, and at the KLCC station there`s a mall right outside the metro. We checked out the grocery store, since I needed something for personal use and it`s super emergency haha, then we bought Old Town Coffee packs which were on sale!! After that, we went to the food court called Taste Enclave, looking and hoping for pork (haha), then ate before we went to see the Petronas Towers outside.

After the KLCC, we went to Bukit Bintang to go to the Pavilion. We rode the monorail, and metro to go to places. But after all the walking, we got tired and decided to take a cab instead! Haha! We were supposed to watch a movie at the mall but there was not a single film that is worth watching. And then we were looking for souvenirs to buy as well, but we can`t find anything there. The Pavilion is a huge mall and its beautiful inside, they`ve got designer brands there, if you`re the shopaholic type :)

We went back to the hotel to rest for a while, then asked around where the area of the good street food is, and where we can buy souvenirs. We took a cab to the Central Market, all the souvenir shops are there. We were told that the store closes at 2130 and it was already past 2100 when we left the hotel, good thing it was still open and we got to buy whatever we needed to. Too bad I didnt get to take pictures of the souvenirs I bought. Hehe. Next time :) After that, we went to Jalan Alor for street foooooods!!! <3 <3 <3 Then we went back to the KLCC to see the Petronas Twin Towers at night :)

That`s it for now, I personally hope to have a longer layover in Kuala Lumpur next time :) But our roster kinda suck lately lol. I`ll be in London next week though! Will blog about it after ;)
